It's cost me thousands of dollars to develop, host and maintain this site which I do entirely for fun to help everyone. No equipment manufacturers pay me anything for anything. I don't even get anything free from them; I have to buy all my own equipment.

I started this site to share my experience with friends and anyone who's interested in improving their photography skills (especially landscape) and have a place to put what I'd learned so I could find it again. This saves me from having to root out information and techniques time and again.

I decided to build this site with Site Build It! which provides tools that makes it easy to create and maintain the site. But, as with all hosting companies, there's an annual fee for providing hosting services.

Generous people like yourself are allowing me to spend more time adding helpful information. The site's new, having been created in January. There's a fair amount of material now online and there's no end in sight. I thought this was going to be easy!
